The Desert Course at Cabo del Sol marks one of Tom Weiskopf’s first designs in Latin America.
This 18-hole target-style golf course blends desert, ocean and mountain terrain into a championship layout destined for world recognition.
The Cabo Del Sol Desert Course is the second championship golf course featured at Cabo del Sol, an 1800-acre residential golf resort community located in Los Cabos, Mexico.
The Tom Weiskopf-designed Desert Golf Course spans gentle rolling desert plains and boasts views of the Sea of Cortez from every hole.
Weiskopf has combined large landing areas with few forced carries to ensure an enjoyable golf experience for players of all levels, yet still be challenging enough for tournament play. Overall golf course yardage varies from 4,810 to 7,097 yards, with greens ranging from 5,000 to 7,500 square feet with gentle, subtle rolls and elevation changes. The bunkering is intense around the greens, yet the golf course is very playable. Wide, yet containing fairway corridors afford golfers great visual appeal off the tee.
Many prefer the Desert course over the Ocean from a value perspecitve and playablitiy.
We offer access to the best courses in Los Cabos, including choices for every type of trip you can imagine, all designed to help you experience and enjoy the trip.
